The updated Part L Building Regulations will have a major impact on the building services sector. These changes will prove to be the toughest yet, as part of the Government's plan for lower carbon buildings.
To help to prepare for this, CIBSE is producing a conference to address the main issues that will affect the industry. This one day event will provide the chance to hear a concise overview of the revisions to Part L and gain an understanding of the differences between the new regulations and the current ones. There will also be an opportunity to hear from industry professionals discussing the impact these changes will have on the industry, along with other critical issues such as the financial and practical implications that come with these revisions.
This event targets specialists from the private and public sectors from the following fields: building services (mechanical and electrical), design, technical services, environment, energy and sustainability; maintenance and facilities, estate services, projects and knowledge management; academics in building services and related fields.
There is an opportunity to attend a Part L Update training course, which takes place in London on 18 October 2010. For more information about the course, please, click here.
