Low Carbon Consultants Energy Management Systems Register for BSEN16001
The new Low Carbon Consultants Energy Management Systems register will be specifically for those professionals who wish to be able to demonstrate that they have the specific competencies to enable them to implement a fully compliant and certifiable Energy Management System meeting the requirements of EN 16001 in either their own workplace or for others.
We envisage that the LCC Energy Management Systems specialism will become highly valued and sought after given the need for companies to meet new and ever more onerous legislative requirements, ecological requirements and a demand for an ethical approach to the use of diminishing natural resources.
To join the register you must demonstrate competence in BSEN16001 through training and examination.
The training is in two parts:
1) A two-day technical course that covers the technical skills needed to support the planning, creation, and operation of an energy management strategy to BS EN 16001. Download programme here.
2) A three day management systems course that provides participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop and implement the energy management systems required to meet the requirements of BS EN 16001:2009. Download programme here.
We have prepared a pre course reading list to assist in your preparation for the course.Download here
The 5 day course will culminate in an examination testing both the technical and the management elements of implementing EN16001. This must be passed to enable delegates to join the register.
As part of the course you will be given a valuable set of management system documents covering the requirements of EN 16001.
This course will be appropriate for those who have already completed a Low Carbon Consultant training course.
